Project Status
CURRENT STATUS:
Following final consultations on the draft Geothermal Resources Policy and draft Geothermal Resources Act in October 2016, and subsequent modifications, the project is now complete. The Policy and Act will be packaged as the Geothermal Resources Bill and sent to Cabinet for consideration sometime during Autumn 2016.
A summary of the project was presented to stakeholders at the ARGeo6 Conference in Addis Ababa , which can be downloaded here.
